Statistical information about the Family Court of Australia
The Court over the past couple of years has implemented a new Case Management System and has undergone a number of changes to the way it conducts its work as a many of the statistics previously presented are no longer relevant or comparable. The statistics presented here are derived from our Case Management Systems and are just a basic set of statistics that many people find interest in. The Court intends to increase and improve the statistics presented in this website.
Note: The Family Court of Western Australia and Federal Magistrates Court also have jurisdiction to deal with Family Law matters and are separate organisation to the Family Court of Australia. Therefore unless otherwise stated all statistics exclude FCWA and FMC.
