Structure, role and organisation of the family law registries

The Family Court of Australia has 19 registries in all states and territories except Western Australia, which has its own family court. Family law registries provide services to both the Family Court of Australia and the Federal Magistrates Court of Australia.

Services include the filing and processing of applications, administrative management of cases and provision of professional services delivered by family consultants and registrars to assist clients resolve their disputes.
