Registry Managers
Eleven registry managers have oversight of 19 family law registries in all states and territories except Western Australia, which has its own family court. Registry managers are responsible for the administrative management of their registry and are responsible to their regional registry manager.
Family law registries provide services to both the Family Court of Australia and the Federal Magistrates Court of Australia.
Registry managers:
- Lead and manage multi-disciplinary teams delivering a range of customer driven services in accordance with the Court's Statement of Strategic Intent for the Family Court of Australia and the Federal Magistrates Court of Australia Administration. Manage resources to ensure that the Court's strategic directions and program objectives are met.
- Lead the process of ongoing performance evaluation and develop and implement strategies to continuously improve the operation of their registry.
- Develop and maintain a range of external and internal working relationships, including with the judiciary, to help achieve the Court's strategic objectives.
Promote a client service culture through the development and implementation of policies and operational procedures that support the Court’s strategic and business objectives.
