The Family Court of Australia has had a long interest in, and commitment to the provision of services to meet the needs of its culturally diverse clients.
The Court established the National Cultural Diversity Committee in 2000, conducted an extensive audit of Court services in 2001, held a National Roundtable Conference co-hosted with the Australian Multicultural Foundation in 2003, and launched a National Cultural Diversity Plan in 2004.
