In 2007, the Indonesian Australian Legal Development Facility (with the State Islamic Universities, the PEKKA NGO and the Family Court of Australia) worked with the Supreme Court of Indonesia to undertake the first large-scale national access and equity study of the Religious Courts of Indonesia.  The aim of the study was to assist the Religious Courts in developing an access and equity strategic plan based on the study findings.
