Revocation of Trial of Initiating Application and Response to Initiating
Application

Preamble

Amendments to the Family Law Rules 2004 which commence on 1 March 2009 implement the
Initiating Application (Family Law) and Response to Initiating Application (Family Law)
forms, following a trial of these forms.

The forms -Initiating Application (Family Law) and Response to Initiating Application (Family
Law) -have been approved by the Chief Justice pursuant to Rule 24.04(1) for the purposes of
the Family Law Rules 2004.

Practice Direction No. 4 of 2006 is therefore no longer required.

Revocation of Practice Direction

Practice Direction No. 4 of 2006 ‘Trial of new forms for Initiating Application and Response to
Initiating Application’ is revoked with effect from 1 March 2009.
