There are many publications available to help separating parents work out the best future arrangements for their children.
The Child Support Agency (CSA) has produced a series of booklets, including
- Me and My Kids: Parenting from a distance
- What about me - Taking of yourself; and Me
- My Kids and my Ex - forming a workable relationship for the benefit of your children.
- Me and My Changing Family - moving forward
- Me and my Money - practical money ideas
These booklets can be ordered online from CSA.
The following books are available from the Department of Families, Housing, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs:

These can be requested by calling 1800 050 009 between 8.30am and 5.30pm Monday to Friday.
